Keep It Up!

6 months. 26 days.

Hey Y'all! It is the last day of Thanksgiving Break and I believe this is my last time in San Jose for the Thanksgiving weekend. Wow! I was just looking at the calendar today and realized that it's practically December, I don't know where the time went.
Application Update: All 7 applications are turned in! It is all out of my hands now, and I just get to be patient for the response. As a reminder: I applied to Texas Christian University, Loyola Marymount University, Biola University, Azusa Pacific University, Chapman University, San Diego State University and University of California Santa Barbara. I am really hoping to get accepted to Biola in La Mirada, but truly the decision is out of my hands and into God's. His will for me is the most important for my life. But I'll keep you all posted as to which schools I get accepted to. So far none have replied back to me, but I have been hearing other seniors getting accepted, so I should be hearing back soon.
In the meantime, scholarships are my new thing and keeping up my schoolwork. Scholarships are the way to go, especially in my circumstance. SUPER excited for what's to come! I kinda want to be there already, but I mean, I have to enjoy these last months as a young high schooler. The time will come!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Only 6 months and 26 days of high school innocence left.

Stepping Slowly

7 months. 13 days. (technically 12 because I'm writing this after midnight)

I know I haven't written in a while but believe me, I'm a BUSY person! So far I have submitted 4 college apps (TCU, LMU, Biola, APU), but tomorrow due to the day off for Veteran's Day, I should be turning in my Chapman app. Then all I will have left is my two state schools (SDSU and UCSB). So those, meaning college apps, have taken a LOT of time and effort, as well as putting much more stress in my everyday living.

Also, school is very difficult this year! I will say that out of my four years at Mira Costa High this is my hardest year. I decided to take challenging classes, which may or may not have been the best choice for my senior year. It's different being the top of the school and being able to use the "I'm a senior" excuse for things. haha

Lately, I have found balancing my schedule to be difficult. It's hard with all my extra curricular activities, college apps, and work. There seems to be tons of schoolwork this year, which doesn't help when I try to go to bed early. hmm

Anyways, I just ordered my cap and gown stuff yesterday and received my first tassel and a 2011 keychain. I can't believe that we are ordering graduation stuff already! It's setting in that these are the last months of high school. It's so weird that just yesterday I was a mini freshman and wondering when I'd be a senior. Senior year is going by so fast, I mean we just finished the 1st Quarter last friday! Wow!

Last week I visited Biola with some of my church members. This was my second time visiting and it is DEFINITELY my #1 SCHOOL! It's interesting to think that basically tomorrow I will be a college freshmen and I can't comprehend how much life is going to change at that point. I am slowly stepping my way up to the big change.

Can't wait to get those acceptance letters from colleges! :D

Yet I still have 7 months and 13 days to go as a high school senior.
