Happy? Holidays!

6 months. 9 days.

All I can say is wow! At this time I am studying the book of Nehemiah with my best friend in the mornings and it makes me more aware of God throughout the day. I love studying the Word, although I will say that discipline is surely needed to wake up an extra 45 minutes in the school morning. haha Also some good news. I received my first college acceptance yesterday! Azusa Pacific University called and congratulated me on getting accepted as well as receiving the Deans' Scholarship which is $8,000 per year. Sweet! Although there is rivalry to this story.... most of you know that Biola is the rival to APU, so here's the thing. About an hour later, Biola called me. It was my admissions counselor with a few follow up questions to my application. It was a good talk and I'm hoping something good came out of it. We'll see when I get that letter in the mail.....

As for now, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

FaLaLaLaLa LaLaLaLaaaaa.... 6 months and 9 days.

Holiday Fun

6 months. 12 days.

As I sit here eating my Goldfish....the crackers, not the pet, I can't help but wonder where the year 2010 went. I mean, we still have 3 weeks, but seriously, ONLY 3 weeks until 2011. Who would've thought that 12 years of school would pass by in a *snap*?
It was December 9th... 2 days ago, that I lost my cat to old age. It's difficult having my cat of 17 years disappear. It's almost hard to think that her life went by so fast, and yet that's how quickly mine is going every day. I miss Bailey already, and I believe that Luna does too, but she's in a better place now.
As far as college stuff: I got a letter from LMU....they deferred me until the spring. For those of you that don't understand what that means, basically they are putting my early action application into the regular decision application and deciding from there. Every day I go out to check the mail hoping that an acceptance letter has arrived for me....but I haven't gotten to that point yet. DARN PATIENCE!
My middle school choir teacher use to say, "Patience is a virtue....I have no virtues." I thought that was quite witty.
Anyways, just thought I'd be in holiday spirit and make the colors different for a change. So, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! :D

Last Christmas at home without having to travel to home... 6 months. 12 days.

P.S. Be sure to watch me in the Rose Bowl Parade on New Year's Day. I'll be carrying a banner in front of a float near the beginning of the parade. I don't know for sure which float, and I won't know until day of. I DO know that I'll be in like the first quarter of the parade, so that I can make it to the Rose Bowl Game.
...Quick story: For my first practice, we walked around a high school track 20 times, while carrying a 20 lb. pole.... How fun?!?
