Day 8: The End

This morning we all went our separate ways for the last morning in DC. My room slept in and then Allison, Celeste, and I headed over to a cafe down the street called La Madeline. It had breakfast, pastries, and drinks. It was a cute, little, french cafe. The portions were big so I only got an orange juice, chocolate croissant, and scrambled eggs. Once we finished, we headed back to the hotel where we all gathered for the bus to the airport. On the bus to the Dulles Airport, we saw our last historical monuments and got ready for home. We were at the airport for like 3 hours. We tried Five Guys, which is the eastern US In & Out Burger, but it wasn't close to the wonderful taste of In & Out. It was okay. We got on the plane and headed home. The plane ride was longer and the tv shows were repeats from the flight to DC. All was great on Virgin Airlines and I was very surprised by the wonderfulness of VA. It was a great trip and I can't wait for the next one!!!
